Wales Senior Open

The first event of 2015 season begins tomorrow in Wales.
The course is very good, in fantastic condition and extremely hilly.
Greens have severe slopes in them and although the overall yardage does not appear long the elevated greens mean longer clubs into them.
A friend asked me to include the weather each event to give and indication of what it is like so here it is for this week.
Friday 16C with 100% chance of rain and 15 – 30 km winds from the west. Saturday 17C 0% chance of rain and 15 – 25 km WSW winds. Sunday cloudy 15C with 80% chance of rain and winds 15 – 30 from the west.
I have a good pairing for first round with Steen Tinning who won his first big event on the main European Tour right here in Wales and Sam Torrance who I met for the first time a few years ago in Mallorca, Spain. Sam is obviously known the world over for his many accomplishments.
I have never played with either player and look forward to the opportunity.
Thanks to everyone who has sent email best wishes.
