Swiss Seniors Open

I am in Bad Ragaz Switzerland for the 2016 Swiss Seniors Open, following a hectic couple of weeks which included flying all day from London, England to Victoria, BC in order to play the following day in the PGA of Canada Championship and then later in the week flying down to Albuquerque, New Mexico for the US Senior Open qualifying.

The Swiss Seniors Open Pro Am yesterday was a real treat and my team of Marc Brogle, Thomas Gut and Markus Hilti finished 4th and the fellows came away with a wonderful prize. We had a great time together and were totally surprised to make the prize table.

Weather Forecast During Playing Times:
Friday Low 18C High 23C Partly Cloudy POP 54% 1mm Wind 5-16km/h SSE
Saturday Low 19C High 22C Partly Cloudy POP 95% 3mm Wind 6-16 km/h NNW
Sunday Low 12C High 19C Overcast POP 3% 0mm Wind 8-16km/h N then NNW

The Golf Course:
The Bad Ragaz Golf Course is a wonderful old style course in excellent condition and a treat to play since quality driving is essential to playing the course well. This is becoming a lost art with modern designs and wide open spaces off the tee.

Statistically
This is a week requiring strong ball striking with driving accuracy at a premium because the golf course is tree lined and the greens are small. Obviously then, Driving Accuracy and Greens In Regulation will be key statistical categories this week in identifying the winner.
